1. The Service
My Care Operator is a subscription-based membership platform that provides educational resources, a private community, live sessions, and regulatory update content for Medicaid home care agency operators. The platform is hosted on Circle.so and payments are processed through Stripe.
My Care Operator is an educational resource only. Nothing in this platform constitutes legal, financial, regulatory, or compliance advice. Always consult a licensed attorney, accountant, or qualified compliance professional before making operational decisions based on content provided through this platform.
2. Membership and Billing
Plans
We offer three membership options:
- Monthly: $100 per month, billed monthly, no long-term commitment
- Annual: $1,000 per year, billed annually
- Lifetime (Founding Members Only): $2,000 one-time payment, limited to first 20 members
Payment
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the applicable membership fee. For monthly and annual plans, your membership renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.
Cancellation
Monthly and annual members may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access until that date. We do not provide partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period.
Lifetime memberships are non-refundable after purchase.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to change membership pricing. Annual members who have paid are not subject to price increases during their paid term. Monthly members will receive at least 30 days notice before any price change takes effect.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Your membership is for your individual use and may not be shared with others. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it current.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the authority to enter into these terms on behalf of yourself or your business.
4. Content and Community
Our content
All content provided through My Care Operator — documents, regulatory updates, checklists, templates, and community posts authored by us — is protected by copyright. You may use this content for your own agency operations. You may not redistribute, resell, or publish our content without written permission.
Your content
When you post in the community you retain ownership of what you write. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display your content within the platform. You are responsible for what you post and agree not to share false, harmful, or unlawful content.
Community standards
This is a professional community. We expect members to engage respectfully. We reserve the right to remove content or terminate memberships that violate community standards, including but not limited to spam, harassment, or posting of another person's private information.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
My Care Operator is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the content is accurate, complete, or current. Medicaid regulations change frequently — we make reasonable efforts to keep content current but cannot guarantee that all content reflects the most current regulatory requirements at all times.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Care Operator and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on content provided here. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless My Care Operator and its operators from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these terms, your use of the platform, or your violation of any third-party rights.
8. Third-Party Services
My Care Operator uses the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Circle.so — community platform and content hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
- Mailchimp — email communications
Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership for violation of these terms. If we terminate your account for cause, you will not receive a refund for any remaining paid period. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your membership.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify members of material changes via email or a notice in the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
